چکیده

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are plant symbionts that promote growth and provide important ecosystem functions. These abilities have great economical potential which has resulted in an increasing number of commercially available AMF inoculants. Here, we present the results a global study evaluate effectiveness 28 commercial inoculants to colonize host plants under greenhouse field conditions. This evaluation includes three independent studies across continents (Australia, Europe, North America). The Australian European tested 25 different non-sterilized sterilized soils conditions compared them against laboratory cultures Rhizophagus irregularis. is supplemented by American evaluated effects In trials using soil, observed addition did not lead enhanced colonization inoculation increased biomass only one out treatments. 84% root colonization, demonstrating these products contain viable propagules. contrast, AM fungus irregularis substantial (48% 79%) bioassay. Colonization with Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Promotes the Growth of Morus alba L. Seedlings under Greenhouse Conditions

Morus alba L. is an important tree species planted widely in China because of its economic value. In this report, we investigated the influence of two arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal (AMF) species, Glomus mosseae and Glomus intraradices, alone and together, on the growth of M. alba L. seedlings under greenhouse conditions. The growth parameters and physiological performance of M. alba L. seedling...

Inoculant of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (Rhizophagus clarus) Increase Yield of Soybean and Cotton under Field Conditions

Nutrient availability is an important factor in crop production, and regular addition of chemical fertilizers is the most common practice to improve yield in agrosystems for intensive crop production. The use of some groups of microorganisms that have specific activity providing nutrients to plants is a good alternative, and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) enhance plant nutrition by providin...

Selecting Native Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi to Promote Cassava Growth and Increase Yield under Field Conditions

The use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal (AMF) inoculation in sustainable agriculture is now widespread worldwide. Although the use of inoculants consisting of native AMF is highly recommended as an alternative to commercial ones, there is no strategy to allow the selection of efficient fungal species from natural communities. The objective of this study was (i) to select efficient native AMF s...

Yield and growth characteristics of sunflower cultivars inoculated by arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi under drought tension conditions

One of the new methods for optimum management and increasing the efficiency of water resources utilization in agricultural uses is the use of irrigation methods. Considering the importance of this issue, this research was carried out to determine the effect of mycorrhizal fungi on the yield of sunflower cultivars under drought tension conditions and as split split plots based on randomized comp...

Scaling-up evaluation of field functioning of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.

An estimated 90% of terrestrial plants form symbiotic associations with soil fungi, and the majority of those plant species belong to families that characteristically form associations with arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi (Smith & Read, 1997). The function of these associations is largely based upon the transfer of carbon (C) from the plant to the fungus, and upon the transfer of mineral nutr...
